Water erosion undermined an early 1900 retaining wall causing collapse of the wall and global slope failure behind the wall.

HOGAN ENGINEERING, PC was given the task by the Town of Herkimer to provide evaluations and costs of different methods of repair.

With the assistance of a geotechnical professional we developed the design of construction documents to replace the wall with steel sheet piling.

The project required coordination with existing underground and overhead utilities.
